Our mission is to develop and encourage a strong, loving congregation through solid Biblical teaching/preaching by which the love of Christ will be reflected in worship, programs, outreach, and practical Christian living.

Our Pastors

Pastors Richard and Judy Gilbert are excited to welcome you to Bayview Church, to immerse you in the word of God, and to spend time in worship with you. 

 

Judy and Richard completed their biblical studies through the Salvation Army, where they both served as pastors and administrators for 34 years. Judy and Richard also served in pastoral and administrative ministries throughout Canada and France. In their most recent ministry, prior to moving to the Interlake region of Manitoba, Judy served as Director of Chaplaincy and Richard as Clinical Director of the Salvation Army Treatment Centre in Vancouver’s East End. Judy and Richard moved to Manitoba's Interlake in the summer of 2013 and began to attend Bayview Evangelical Free Church at that time. Richard and Judy are now both retired, but continue to minister to members of Bayview's congregation, and to the community of Gimli at large. 

A Typical Sunday Morning at Bayview

Our services begin at 10:45 a.m. The order of service is typically Bible readings, worship songs, prayers, announcements, the Biblical message, and Sunday School for the children.

Membership:

Bayview Church welcomes as members people of any age who profess to have accepted Jesus Christ as their Saviour, who in their lives manifest evidence of a true faith in God, and who are willing (based on ability) to support the church with their personal participation, prayers, and contributions.
